Pope Francis on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, welcomed Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, his wife, Samira and other government officials to the Vatican.

On Monday, Dr Bawumia embarked on a diplomatic mission to Italy and the Vatican State. During his visit, he is expected to engage in bilateral discussions with His Holiness, Pope Francis, focusing on shared values of love, mercy, and inclusivity.
