Finacle Core Banking Support Specialists and Team Leader

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Finacle Core Banking System to ensure minimal downtime and effective troubleshooting of core banking-related issues.

• Provide end-to-end support for core banking users by addressing functional and technical issues and enhancing user experience.

• Oversee customizations and configurations in Finacle to meet banking requirements and align with business objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, Quality Assuranceand support, to ensure seamless integration with other systems and successful deployment of banking products.

• Apply patches and hotfixes to the Finacle system as provided by the vendor, ensuring system security and functionality

• Administer, manage, and support Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) databases to ensure high availability, scalability
and performance.

• Implement and manage database backup, restore, and recovery procedures in compliance with disaster recovery plans.

• Analyze and optimize database performance by monitoring resources, tuning SQL queries, and configuring system parameters to meet high transaction volume.

• Perform patching and version upgrades for Oracle RAC databases, ensuring compatibility with Finacle Core Banking applications.

• Implement database security protocols, encryption and access controls, ensuring compliance with industry and organizational security policies.

Qualification and Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oracle Database Administration with at least 2 years in Oracle RAC environment, along with proven experience in Finacle Core Banking support.

• Proficiency in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

• Hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking System, including customization, troubleshooting and support.

• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL scripting and performance tuning.

• Strong understanding of database backup and recovery processes.
